Career Planning - A Business Goal At Jefferson we believe that
success does not happen by accident. For this reason we are focused on Business
Planning and Metrics to consistently and regularly monitor our success. We believe
that planning and metrics should be used through our company as well as with our
clients. For this reason each Jefferson employee will spend time working with their
mentor to develop a detailed Career Plan upon joining the company. This Career Plan
not only consists of goals but also focuses on milestones so that success can be
measured. Career plans are reviewed on a regular basis throughout the year and
formally rewritten each year in order to maintain the integrity of each plan and to
ensure that every employee is making progress.
Training - A cornerstone of Jefferson Many companies see training as
a cost. We see training as an required business investment. Each member of Jefferson's
staff must attend professional development training each year. This training is part
of each employee's Career Plan. In addition to formal training time, Jefferson
utilizes "Bench Time" (Time between Engagements) to Cross-Train personnel in a wide
array of environments and positions.
